Get Back the Body and Health You Had Before the Baby

One of the greatest miracles of life is the birth of a child, and both mother and child deserve the best possible care during pregnancy and afterward.  Nutrition during pregnancy and after is critical for the development of the baby, and for the immediate and future health of the mother. 

Both pregnancy and breastfeeding cause changes and place extra demands on a woman’s body.  Whether or not you fully recover after a pregnancy depends on many factors, and it’s not uncommon for a woman to find that she “can’t get back in shape” or “hasn’t been the same” since the birth of a child.

Barriers to healing can prevent you from progressing normally through postpartum recovery.  Common barriers to healing include nutritional deficiencies, a weakened immune system, chemical stresses on the body and poorly healing scars, such as C-section scars or episiotomies.  In most cases, these can be detected and your body can be supported with the correct nutritional protocol so that it can heal.
